So long, Summer…

It’s true that we don’t know what we got until we lose it, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives.

Ch-ch-ch Changes!

1. Finally got my friend Christina to do my make-up and because she used green on me, I was able to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle. My photo will be entered in a contest on Facebook and the girl with the most votes after 2 weeks will win a prize!

2. BACK IN ACTION WITH A BRAND NEW CAMERA! I ended up browsing different products, but I found one similar to what I was originally looking for (a Sony Cybershot). I did some test shots with it on Sunday evening and it’s not half bad :)

3. The second week of training at Wells Fargo is well on its way. Things are finally coming together and the information is soaking in. I can only hope that the amount of fun I’m having with my team mates in training I’ll have at my branch. We’ve done everything from role play to commercials and I always look forward to having conversations with them at lunch. I’ll miss them a lot <3

4. I have a really cute pedicure that I treated myself to on Friday.

I Guess This Is Growing Up

When I was eighteen, I was starting college and had just gotten my first job. While both of these factors would hand me a great deal of responsibility, I still wanted to have a social life.

At twenty one, I now understand why there is so much pressure on teens to move out. Everyone just wants to grow up. I still live with my parents, but being a full time student with a part-time job doesn’t come easy. I strive to maintain a good standing in both areas and give them a higher importance, whereas having a social life is somewhat important. To be frank, definitely less than it was at eighteen. I’m slowing making a transition to becoming a REAL adult.

With time, you keep learning new things about yourself. I act more responsible now and it feels great. My fingerprints were taken today for a job that I was recently hired for. It’s the most legitimate experience so far and I haven’t even started the job! I know I’ll feel so accomplished once I’m in the deep end and not just in the shallow end. Every day to do something will inch you closer to a better tomorrow :)
